Client Development Representative

The Impact you Will Have:

As a Client Development Representative, you are a critical part of our sales team, providing top-of-funnel new prospects via outbound prospecting and development of inbound lead requests. You are responsible for driving qualified opportunities from well-situated leads and transitioning those opportunities to the sales team for further execution and closing. You are also responsible for maintaining relationships and contact with quality leads to transition them into qualified opportunities in the longer term.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prospect new contacts and accounts within a set region by identifying and enrolling leaders in the Talent Development and HR roles of Fortune 1000 companies, government, and education organizations into Executive Briefings.
  • Work closely and in alignment with Sales Executives to ensure smooth handoff and a good prospect experience.
  • Connect with stakeholders at the appropriate buying level within these accounts.
  • Work closely with Sales Executives to assist in opportunity creation, quote generation, and sales support.
  • Provide feedback and viewpoint from the customer and sales team to help improve the company’s products and business.
  • Advocate for the company’s talent effectiveness platform and our position within the global talent development community.

What You’ll Need:

  • 2-4 years of B2B sales experience (inside sales preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience of achieving defined sales goals (e.g., quota and other sales KPIs)
  • Proven track record of success in a BDS/SDR role
  • Experience using various selling technologies – Salesforce a plus.
  • Training in product (soft skills) sales preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills.
  • Self-starter and goal oriented.
  • The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including phone skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to travel to in-person events at least one to two times per year.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

The Process:
