Warehouse Assistant/Phone Operator

Reports To: Manager of Fulfillment and Facilities

Employment Type: Part Time, FSLA Status: Non-Exempt, EEO Category: Administrative Support Workers

The Impact you Will Have:

We are seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Assistant/Phone Operator working from 1:00pm-5:00pm Monday through Friday. Qualified applicants will possess excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, a self-starter, and have an enthusiasm for excellence in their work. The Warehouse Assistant/Phone Operator will assist in order fulfillment and shipping, answer incoming phone calls, welcome on-site visitors, distribute mail, and perform other warehousing and clerical duties as needed.

Please note: This position is on site in our warehouse in Provo, UT.

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitors sales order queue, prints and prioritizes sales orders as they are approved.
  • Picks, packs, and ships sales orders.
  • Assist in warehouse maintenance, organization, and cleanliness.
  • Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.
  • Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
  • Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.
  • Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
  • Receives, sorts, and routes mail.

What You’ll Need:

  • 0-3 years of experience
  • Must possess a passion for assisting people. This position requires a high-level customer service.
  • Skills in Microsoft Office and excellent phone etiquette required.
  • Prior experience in warehouse, order picking and shipping is helpful, but not required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $15.00– $16.00 an hour with the opportunity to participate in a variable incentive plan. The actual base salary offered will depend on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
